Powder coating?

Postby retroenduro on Wed Jun 20, 2007 10:51 pm

Hi all

You may have seen this post on the FGP site but ti thought i would contribute to your new site here!

Just wanted a second opinion on this but my enduro is beginning to look a bit chipped and old so before i change the bearings in it i thought about getting the frame stripped and powder coated. has anybody had any experience of this? does it work on an aluminium frame, does the curing process damage it? does anyone know of a good powder coater?

Any help would be appreciated!

Dont know if it works on Aluminum. I have a cro-mo bike, and it looked awesome. It lasted about 6 years, so its pretty durable, I had to re paint it due mainly to chainsuck damage. I couldnt find any place to have it powdercoated. if you find a place, please let me know.
good luck.
