VSS XC Race 2 - review

Postby ABgiant on Sun Jan 20, 2008 6:10 am

13 January 2008 Round 2 VSS 2007/2008 ,Cavagnas Rd Track Sedgwick,

Club - Bendigo Mountain Bike Club - http://www.mtbbendigo.com/

+150 riders

Can't say that many were in favour of the mixed class, mass starts. Also not having colour coding and number ranges of number plates for each class, which other clubs appear to have adopted, makes it very difficult to know who is in front and behind on these mass starts, .

The tight rocky single track, coupled with fast open paddock back to the start/finish always proves to produce different results to other races. Only those with courage attempt the pass move on the single track.

Can't but have respect for the winners of this round.

Thanks to Bendigo for providing off the street parking for all, without a doubt is keeps the neighbours onside!

anyone else have photos from this race?

Just wondering if anyone else has photos from this race?

Most races have, if you like "an official photographer", but there is normally many others taking photos.

Does there need to be a website where "other people" can up load their race photos?
