Chamois cream

I was wanting to know if people use chamois cream on their synthetic chamois. I have just bought some new nicks & the padding is more like some kind of material (as aopposed to chamois), so I don't know if I should use cream on it or not. Any opnions would be appreciated.

Sorbolene Cream for all my chamois

I have always used Sorbolene Cream for all my chamois. I have found it provides consistent results regardless of the chamois material and type of riding.
